UN Security Council 'strongly' condemns Myanmar violence, civilian deaths

The #UN Security Council on Thursday "strongly condemned" the deaths of hundreds of civilians in #Myanmar, in a unanimous statement watered down by #China after two days of tough negotiations. FRANCE 24's Jessica Le Masurier tells us more.

Since the decissions of the majority members of the UN Security Council are always vetoed by either one or two permanent members of the UNSC the UN cannot do anything. Now a days the UN has become like a dreadful Lion without teeth and nails. Condemnation of the UN is not afraid of by any country even the military junta of a poor country like Myanmar
