That old lady seems like she's tougher then 90% of 20year olds these days.

Watching yours and a few other 'will it run' channels has brought back memories and an appreciation for the cars of my youth. Got my permit in 85 and license in 1986 driving my moms 74 Monte Carlo, didnt realize how cool it was. Thanks for the content.

This brings back memories...My dad and uncle used to flip cars like this as they were mechanics...We had a yard with like 6-7 cars in it at all times but they weren't lawn ornaments they were inventory...As kids it was fun..We had some cool cars growing up..The best part was one day my mother would be driving a 65 chevy step-side with stack exhaust and a month later she might be driving a 69 Olds Cutlass, you never knew. Of course, we would come across 3-wheelers 4-wheelers, go-karts, a few Honda Odysseys (remember those factory Honda go-karts), and mini bikes...so for us kids it was an adventure...I remember many times them making a sale and going inside to give my mother money for food and bills...If my dad didn't do well...we didn't do well lol...There was some other stuff my dad and uncles moved around back in the 80s in that lifestyle but I will leave that to your imagination...anyway that's where i got my love for classics...It wasn't always good but they did the best they could...I look back on it fondly

Gus! Trying to steal the stuffed animals 😂. This lady is awesome with quite a family history on that property and a Vet to boot. I salute you ma’am 🫡 Thank You. From another Vet —thank you Chris for recognizing her service. All the cats are probably the reason the car didn’t have a mouse problem. Great video as always.

Great video Chris & a quick turn around. The guy you sold it to looked quite the 1970s character, smoking on the inspection ride....

There is a good tradition here in IRAN that the buyer gives a free ride to the seller of the car to his home.
Love from IRAN ❤

@4:12 - How many years young is that wonderful lady? I'll bet that she kicked butt and took names in her day. What a fantastic example of the quality of older humanity. She's a peach!

My dad bought a brand new 77' Olds 98..(two door)
I took my drivers test in it a couple yrs later...
I think the 98's had the 350 engine option but I believe the 305 was standard. Ours had a 350 in it & it was spunky for the day.
In 86' I bought it from my dad for pocket change because the engine was shot ..
I put another 350 in it & was driving it to work..
My little brother had a turbo'd Ford p.o.s. and the motor blew in it, so I gave him my 98 .
I wish I had one today in good shape.
I loved that car .

I was a lot porter at an Olds/Pontiac dealer in the late 70s and this car brought back a ton of memories. Olds ruled the road at the time, with the Cutlass being the best selling car for several years. The 88/98 was a great riding car; you could even get a console shift and buckets in the 88 Holiday coupe.😎🍺

Hell yeah, awesome revive and drive! I have a 79' Regency and I believed they used 403 starting in 1977 - Reusing the 350 block with a wider bore they were the highest displacement small block GM ever made. Great work as always Chris!

Looked to me like everybody was happy with that deal, the lady got money, you got money and Monty got a car, sounds like a good day to me.

Pretty cool old boat, man! I might just replace the roof panel and floor sections and run the dang thing! The roof wouldn't have to be perfect, since I would cover it with a new vinyl top. Then there's the interior. Seat covers, a carpet kit, some good used door panels, and fabricobble a headliner, and you're set! Anyway, I hope Monty has plans similar to those. I think that old ride is solid enough to throw some money at! Take care, Chris! From SoCal Chris....and I was born and raised in SouthWestern PA, so another Penna boy here!

My Dad bought a 1977 Olds Delta 88 new. Same colour and look as yours, it was absolutely beautiful!! I got my license in 1985 and I drove it all the time. I remember a buddy and I in University drove it from Quebec to Atlantic City to see the Stones Steel Wheels show. 1988 or ‘89 I think. The car drove like a sofa, never gave any grief!! I wish I still had it!!
