HEARTBOUND Act 1 / Demo - Easters Eggs, Secrets, and References

I played this game after some of you recommended it. I really enjoyed what the demo had to show! Little did I know the depth Heartbound had. At the behest of some viewers, I went digging for Heart bound secrets easter eggs and references. Who knew there would be so many!?

A 50 minute video on secrets for a one hour demo? YUP!! Between the Heartbound Glowbringer and Darksider paths, as well as manipulating Curiosity and Fear, there are an insane number of ways you can affect this game. I play around with all of that to reveal all endings in Heartbound Demo There are secrets and more that are still undiscovered! Guess we'll have to wait on the full Heartbound release for those easter eggs.

I remember hearing about this game in 2017, and lately it's been kinda declining... like no one really knows it anymore. I'm very glad you made a video on this game, it deserves recognition!! This game is one of the few games that inspired me to start game development!!

When I first saw Cirsi's name, I actually thought of Circe, the Witch who'd lure men in with deception, and then use potions and magic to transform them into animals. I didn't realize it was an actual plant name. But seeing how everyone are animals, and the food they eat is affected by her alchemy, maybe her and her sister could be 'them'. We will see soon enough

Pretty sure the Jammed joke is also a reference to spaceballs. In it a radar gets "jammed" with a giant jar of raspberry jam.

Yooo I remember Merg playing the demo! This game seems really cool, I love the battle system, and the story. I came wait for the game to be complete, hopefully it comes back into the limelight! :D

I don't remember the exact scene, but in Homestuck one of the characters owns a microwave that is used to teleport items to his friend, and he eventually uses it to teleport his head. (His reason for doing this is a long story, like most things in Homestuck)

Glowbringer "it" is saying that seal will protect them from the item. Darksider are saying they don't know how use it power if the totems are switch

one of the ghost workers in the tower says the line "tower corp is out to get me but I feel alright" which is a reference to the lyric "everybody's out to get me but I feel alright" from the song "Stress" by "Jim's big ego" (Which was sadly deleted on spotify a few days ago :()

To me, the shrines you read during the laser puzzle make out that the darksiders aren't actually evil, and the "them" it might be referring to is the glowbringers, who might have felt they didn't need the protection. Either way, it seems that neither side will be fully good or evil, or at least I hope.
