Genshin impact's taverns are not up to code

Thanks to popular demand we finally have our inspector reviewing teyvats tavern industry!
*Kitchen nightmares sound effect plays in the background* Gordo exclaims, ‘taroumarou, what are you doing? Dogs can’t be on the counter!’ Taroumarou responds ‘woof.’ Gordo is enraged, he shouts to the archons above, and asks to see the owner. Taroumaru: ‘I am the owner.’ Gordo replies, ‘look do you want my bloody help or not? You can’t be doing this in a restaurant’ Taroumarou retorts, ‘I don’t need any help Gordo, my cooking skills far surpassed yours long ago. You are no longer the master. I am.’ Taroumarou whips up a tonkotsu ramen from behind the counter with his bare paws. ‘Try it,’ he gestures to Gordo. Gordo laments, taking a slurp from the freshly made ramen. ‘This… this is bloody beautiful..’ His stomach growls in satisfaction. ‘I- I don’t know what to say…’ Taroumarou places his paw over Gordo’s mouth, ‘Shhh, you don’t need to say anything. Your face says it all. The student… is now the master.’

Any food establishments that I missed in this episode I’ll probably check out in a later video!

You should talk about how all of the NPC's behind counters have no way to get out from behind their counters. No doors, no trapdoor to lift up on the counter, nothing. It's weird.

Navia nearly got poisoned at Hotel Debord, I think that’s definitely some sort of violation, if a 3rd party has access to the drinks

I still can't believe Hoyo doesn't put playable characters in the game. Completely missed opportunity to randomly see Diluc at his own bar. Or Kaeya, Rosaria, and Venti getting drinks. It would make feel like they're a part of the world and not just actors in a play

Considering Inazuma is based on Japan, it's entirely possible the "food" left out on the counters might actually be fake, lifelike reproductions of actual dishes used for advertising purposes. This is extremely common in Japan today, with most modern models being made of plastic.

15:05 in Australia, many pubs are named 'hotel's as a liquor license was once only allowed to establishments that offer rooms for rent. Seeing that Fontaine is a bureaucratic nation with many laws, made me think they've worked around a regulation loophole to obtain some right to operate.
