Alan Alda Announces He Has Parkinson’s Disease

Actor Alan Alda has announced he has Parkinson’s disease. The 82-year-old "M*A*S*H" star made the shocking announcement Tuesday on "CBS This Morning." "I have not said it in public until now, that I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's," Alda said. The disease affects the central nervous system and can often cause tremors. Alda said he received the news three years ago, but decided to reveal it now because he noticed his hand shaking in several recent television appearances. #InsideEdition

My uncle has Parkinson's disease. First the hand shakes. Then the jaw shakes. Then they have trouble breathing. My uncle as trouble breathing. It is really scary.He is going to pass away soon.

No offence, but I doubt anyone was going to scrutinize the slightest shake in an interview and then run off and do a story about you having Parkinson's. Had anyone actually noticed it, (which I doubt anyone did) I'm pretty sure they would have just chalked it up to you being 82 years old.
