Indeed Scraper: Python Selenium & Zapier

This tool automatically scrapes indeed on a scheduled basis (Daily / Weekly) using regular expressions and keywords to locate job postings that match my clients ideal customer profile. It then sends that scraped data (company name, job description, post link, job title.) to a new row in google spreadsheets.

When a new spreadsheet row is created by the scraper with a new Job Post. We use Zapier to send a pre-made prompt to ChatGPT containing the job description to create a customized cover letter using Zapier. (e.g. "Write us a cover letter and resume for this job posting coming from a mobile app company explaining why were the best fit to take on this role. Here’s a list of our experience, etc…")

Once the cover letter is received, another zap triggers the next webscraper to run, which is designed to automatically apply to the job on Indeed using the cover letter created by ChatGPT.

When a response is received (email, indeed inbox or text) we have a zap that sends a slack mssg. to the sales team to begin the 'interview process' ("hey, your application to {{JOB_NAME}} w/ {{COMPANY_NAME}} received a response. Message them back and book a discovery call to discuss")

Additional Features:
- Adjustable time based triggers (daily / weekly execution)
- Using NLP to analyze job post and ONLY apply to jobs that fit criteria
- Automatic De-Duplication. (never scrapes or applies to a job post more than once.)
