Why Allah Created Jinn? Jinn Possession in Islam | Djinn
In Islamic teachings, jinn are supernatural beings created by Allah from "smokeless fire" and exist in a realm distinct from humans but share similar aspects of free will and moral accountability. Like humans, jinn can choose between good and evil, with some being believers (Muslims) and others non-believers or mischievous (shayateen). Surah Al-Jinn in the Quran (Chapter 72) provides insight into their existence, their acknowledgment of Prophet Muhammad's prophethood, and their ability to listen to parts of divine revelation.
Jinn can sometimes interact with humans, but Islamic teachings warn against seeking or forming close associations with them, as this can lead to harm or misguidance. In Islam, protection from harmful jinn is encouraged through practices like reciting Quranic verses (such as Ayat al-Kursi) and duas, emphasizing Allah’s protection.
