I love your family's traditions!!! Our tradition is first on November 30th we have a Christmas kickoff box with an advent calendar, Christmas pajamas, a Christmas decoration, a Christmas movie, and a Christmas ornament. December 5th Santa comes to get our letters and on the 6th leaves treats, goodies, and surprises in our Christmas boots. Christmas Eve we have our Christmas boxes with foods, drinks, candy, goodies, etc. Christmas Day we open gifts, do sibling gift exchanges, open our stockings, etc. Then we go to our grandparents house to open more gifts, open our Christmas bag, and open the ornaments with a paper saying what gift/money/gift card, etc., that you get. The one that gets the picture gets a big gift. Our Christmas Eve dinner is Chili, but our Christmas Day dinner is a pasta dish. Our big holiday dinner is the weekend before Christmas so everyone can come, and it makes Christmas Day easier. We spend more time with family too.
