Clever idea to put a sub in that location. I'm surprised I haven't seen anything like this sooner. However I was shocked to see it cost $280, I figured 150 tops

This is a great option for me due to space constraints. I'm a mailman, and I need all the space I can get so I've taken out all but the drivers seats. fitting a whole subwoofer with enclosure is out of the question and would be way too high profile anyways, i dont want to stick out like a sore thumb, lol. I'd just like to have a significant upgrade over my flat stock system.
but I'm curious if you can use it in conjunction with a normal amp and how you might go about doing such a thing?
Because I think If I could squeeze in this compact sub amp combo, along with another amp powering some after-market door speakers, it would be just the thing I'm asking for! Or rather, need. Good sound isn't a luxury, it's a necessity of life! Thanks

I simply do not see the point of this product. It’s not really that much smaller. It’s still 2.75” high which still won’t fit under a Miata seat. That weird wedge shape doesn’t help. It also has no remote, meaning you cannot adjust the subwoofer level on-the-go, as different types of audio demand different levels of bass.

I already have my 150w Kenwood tucked up in the passenger footwell, and it cost half the price.
