Dominic Raab: taking a knee 'seems to be from Game of Thrones'

The foreign secretary Dominic Rabb has said he would not 'take a knee' in support of the black lives matter movement. Asked on talkRadio whether he would take part in the symbolic show of support, the foreign secretary said: 'I take the knee for two people: the Queen and the Mrs when I asked her to marry me.'

When someone gets criticism for refusing to "take the knee" to a political movement then something has gone seriously wrong with our society.

I would have thought most people would think it abhorrent that people supporting a political movement would expect others to "take a knee", bow down or prostrate themselves in supplication to that movement.

He's right, it's something you either all for and willing to do, or it's something that you just wouldn't consider doing, we all have our own reasons, and shouldn't be made to feel guilty for deciding not to.

I'm not a Dominic Raab fan, but I DO support him over his refusal to "Take the knee".
I'm NOT a racist, but I too WILL NEVER "take the knee" in support of BLM.
