It looks great. I was about to place an order on Amazon for a set of stickers for my DJI Mini 2, but when reading the product description realised that the total weight of the stickers is 6.8g, which would make the drone weight more than 250g.

Highly recommend the strobon Cree lights, one red and green...stick on back legs with velcro..even better visibility and especially for abit of night flying

Great video, i like the idea of the bright skin i always struggle keeping the drone in sight, thanks for the link.
You should get some ND filters so you can reduce the shutter speed which will make the image playback smoother, i have the Skyreat filter purchased directly from skyreat i can recommend these.

Wicked idea (stickers) - Just got my mini 2 today and like you, last night I sat at the computer and did the exam and passed with 35/40. just waiting for the card I ordered from eBay to turn up. Did 20 mins in the garden to get used to the controls and it seems quite easy and sh*t loads of 🍻🍻

The idea of keeping the drone in VLOS in not just about seeing the drone, it's about seeing the entire environment the drone is in, which you can 'not' see in the app. If, for instance, a flock of birds is heading for the drone from behind, you are not going to see that on your phone. Another UAV enters the airspace, you won't see it on your phone etc.

And do weigh your drone with the skin on. Over 250g and you can only fly in A3 category. Happy flying.

Cool video but I was wondering if putting the high visibility stickers on the drone would put it over the 249g weight limit if weighed ?

Awesome job, glad your following the rules now.

Like the skin, good idea for visability, I also have a high vis best that says do not disturb while flying.

Just makes it easier for people to see who's in controll of the drone and tells them not to distract you.

The find drone option in the app makes the mini bleep and flash to make it easier to find..
