The way PSR works and being able to spread the fee over the length of the contract, we've actually only spent circa £27m this window. We can count all the sales however and we've taken £57m! Therefore we do have money for more transfers, £30m in fact which is 3 £50m players or 1 £100m and 1 £50m (assuming a 5 year contract)! 😉

I think Zirkzee is our new no.10 and will be rotated with Mount. Bruno and Casemiro will be our CM / CDM duo with Mainoo and possibly Berge or Ugarte as rotation options.

Jonny was taken on as a back up Center Back . That he's been the best of the bunch since he came back, at 37yrs (?) says a lot about United's defensive abilities.. He should never have been sold in the first place, his career since then proves that as well as his form for United now.

I think if the club can sell Antony, Sancho and Mctominey, they'll probably look to sign a couple more players, in Midfield I think Collyer will get more minutes so probably one more in midfield, and with Amad earning his right to be first or second choice, another player who can play across the front 3 could be a good option.

Dalot was player of the season last season because performances merited it, not because of the standard of others.
Mazraoui won't be removing him.

Shaw on the other hand, yeah, I can 100% see Dalot going in there. At the beginning of his career when he came to United he was a left back. He stays fit, he can replace Shaw.

De ligt isn't mobile enough. He's an old fashioned defender similar to the mold of Harry Maguire. So he may struggle with the pace of the premiere league. Most of the top teams have defenders who can move around a lot for example Stones, Dias, Rudiger, Van Dijk, Gabriel, Saliba. Like I understand why we signed Yoro as he fits perfectly within that category. But De ligt I fear will get found out easily, that style of play just isn't needed at the top level. It's just as-well Bayern are trying to get rid of him & replacing him for Tah who is more modern.

We've turned down Mario Hermoso but I'm glad we were looking at least, shows that position is on the cards still, i trust the recruitment team think Hermoso is not suitable.
