Jamuary 01 2022 MicroFreak, NTS-1 #jamuary2022

A quick jam to start off the year, with some of my favourite gear - Arturia MicroFreak with the Noise oscillator, Korg NTS-1 with the Odds oscillator and Haze Reverb, and the Zoom MS-70CDR with Lo-Fi Delay.

The audio is recorded to SD card on Zoon R-16 mixer/recorder and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on a Canon EOS M50 mk2 with the included EF-M 15-45mm lens. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 17.

Very nice! It seems impossible to make the MicroFreak sound bad. Such a great little synth.

Wonderful atmosphere. Enough tweaking to keep it interesting but sparse and live enough to keep it away from the overly produced.
