Week 2 NHL Power Rankings (up thru sunday 10/20/24). Not much change at the top as the Winnipeg Jets Keep winning, but a lot of change in the Top 10.

Trolling Jets fans... I like it. Being a Jets fan with no bias, anyone who doesn't have the jets at number 1 is biased against the jets.

Caps 2 losses were to a Devils teams that had played 3 games and Caps were off a week after last pre season game and to Tampa with Stanley Cup Vasy came out in 1st 2 periods or they'd been up 3-1 going into 3rd Caps get PP going, they'll be deadly especially with Protas developing well with Strome and Ovie and which will be one of best lines for years to come as they play together more, Wilson, PLD, and McMichael

The Jets catch a lot of teams off-guard, in their approach. They might not even have a line that's the top 10 in the NHL. That said, their top 3 lines are probably all in the top 30 best lines in hockey. The Lowry-Appleton-Neiderreiter line is better than the starting line on numerous teams in the league, especially those playing 'Let's take the Day Off for Demidov'

Jets have benefited from a good schedule and puck luck. As you said, we'll see how they fare against the Leafs. They have struggled against the Leafs before. There are actually many MANY Leafs fans in Winnipeg.
