They will always fire a shot at the Ford quality somewhere, but those European cars may have double stich leather, but they are often in the shop. There are some European brands that get good reliability ratings but the maintenance you put in them are insane. I've owned 2 Mercedes an SL and CLK--nothing but shop bait. I liked the look of the cars but the maint headaches I do not miss. I bought a 2017 Mustang GT to feel a little young again, really impressed with the car.

I was waiting for it, I knew it would be in there somewhere. And then, there is was - the obligatory "Ford bashing" that is common place in all reviews conducted by Motor.

The Mustang sells like Hot cakes 🎂 in Germany specially the GT. They know what's up...
Every car is reliable. It's the user who's unreliable. If you are not willing to maintenance any vehicle. Take the bus.
