Mariculture support is added by Ex Aquilo in the pack. You can get the fish and pearls and ores by sifting things through the sieve, no oceans needed.

It's good to see a series that looks like it's gonna hang around. I know the other series have had hold ups but a lack of consistent series posts is kinda why I stopped watching Cave! This one looks good though. Can't wait to see more.

Caveman's character falling into the screen is generally a good idea for an intro.

You can make a Axe by using the bonemeal
I am an advanced Tinkerer and i know that you can use parts of the actual items as well on bigger parts. So if it says you need 1 item for the head and 0.5 item for the rod you could use two Sticks for the head
In this case you have to use three or two bonemeal. Dont know the number exactly but its working
