For a dress of wrong it is awfully cute! I love your little pocket wiggle at the end because yes, that is the best part of getting to make your own clothes they can be a functional AND pretty as you want.

This turned out to look better than I expected a camo gown to look. Fantastic job. Well done.! Thank you for the video.

Did anyone else fall in love with that big ‘ol chicken pattern weight!? I mean, the dress is really cool, but the chicken! <3
I wouldn’t be sad if a tutorial popped up...

This came out wonderfully - just goes to show you that you don't need accurate fabrics to make a wonderful outfit (says the lady who once made a dressy outfit using a kids boat print)

This is fun! I've been playing with the idea of using modern patterns and fabrics (still natural fibers though) so this was fun to see! I have an idea of making a full outfit from old 70s bed sheets. Would be so fun with all those flower patterns. Your dress ended up great! Keep up the good work!

The dress of wrong? Or the dress of SO MUCH RIGHT?!
I love the end... "POCKETS!"

Ahhh you looked so pretty in the finished outfit :-) I really liked the tip about adding a corner section if you don't have enough fabric. I also thought the way the Victorians added the pocket link to the waistband to take the weight was genius!

Jalea - you ROCK! It was so fun to watch you work through this and I love how you referenced your historical sources too. Thanks for sharing! I look forward to more videos in the future!

It turned out very lovely :) I like the straps you did to fasten the bodice up. They really suit the outfit. Look forward to seeing what you do next :)

That's a great dress! You need to make some wide camo ribbon for hat trim (with a big bow).

I thought the bustle making was really clever and I love the finished dress. Where are you planning to wear your creation?

How much fabric do you typically purchase, if you don't already have a pattern selected?

I feel like all makers have a long suffering "x". You have have a long suffering husband. I have a long suffering roommate. Everybody has one.
