You explained it perfectly for New drifters but if you played CarX drift racing online you should be able to pick this up fairly easily

The new drift tuning is actually pretty fun, i actually installed it on the remus and the fr36 and from my experience both feel different, for the remus i had to do a couple of turnings while drifting to look for an angle on a turn but as for the fr36 it drifts pretty well although sometimes i would spin out accidentally into traffic but oh well $200k was well worth it

Two tips I’d add, if you have weazel plaza apartments or know where it’s located, it has a figure eight right near the garage entrance that makes for great practice, also you can drift in reverse

The mods do effect the tune. I found out with my jester RR I had my engine mods not selected and then I selected level 4 engine and it was a huge difference.

I was practicing drifting at the cargo docks as it’s a good place, I thought about trying 360 entries and reverse entries and it’s smooth as butter, never did I think I’d be drifting like this is Gtao let alone consistently be able to pull off 360 entries into corners, there’s also now a drift camera in first person like there is in forza, it does feel a bit clunky at first tbh but once your used to it drifting in first person is very satisfying now.

I haven't tried drifting yet because I thought it's a gimmick, but now I will. This is also a very neat and timely answer to the question of what to do with my free Futo GTX, because it's definitely not a good race car. Thank you!

I’ve been a tryhard for so long and I stopped playing about two years ago and to see certain cars being added along with the drift update make gta more fun even when you’re bored you just drift around the entire map

I wish they would add the drift as a option to enable drift and disable during drivimg your car. Say Im driving my car really fast with normal movement, then I want to drift through the corner and by pressing R1 I enable the drift mode or somethjng

Drift Tampa is the GOAT for this, it naturally has a 4WD drive train with bias on the rear, so the drift upgrade makes it feel natural to what it should have been years ago.

You can also use the ls car meet area to try the car, realy good for drifting

1:25 u have to upgrade ur performance before installing drift tune, because I did that literally on stock car and when I met my friend I couldn't keep up with him, his car was significantly faster and I felt lack of power. Even tho the performance bars like, acceleration speed, braking remain the same, u still need to upgrade ur turbo gearbox and engine . It still counts.
