I got the galaxy one or whatever the name of the one with stars in it was, and got the light to go with it, it works VERY well on my glow in the dark shirts!

Hold it up to a lightbulb and try again. Don't forget that when you're in the dark you'll also need to allow your eyes to adjust a bit.

Like any other glow in the dark product, the glow will not last forever. Eventually you will have to re-expose it to light in order to recharge it.
