Hey Leth! I really want to give you a really good advice on a tech, if you rocket drift to the opposite way of your current drift, the drift cancels completely and you get the boost of your drift, that way you don't have to wait until the car finishes straightening up to get the boost, or you can use it for abruptly changing directions for another drift/jump/etc while also getting the boost you had. This is specially useful for when either you are on a straight, or you don't have much space or time to make a drift boost, giving the car much more handling when desired, while getting those extra fast boosts on command and further charging the rocket boosts, giving you complete freedom of whether you want to finish your drift boosts.


When trying it out, it really made difference on how races are driven and gave the car much more depth (plus sometimes doing it feels like Crash Team Racing poweslide mechanics FTW), and it would be really cool if you tried this out.

Thanks for the tips, Leth! I’ve got a few questions for you:

1. On festive falls I notice you never go for the shortcut through the waterfall - would you say that’s a trap route and isn’t any faster?

2. Do you think it’s smart to use boost when you’re on a long straight away? Or would that be a waste since most players are moving at faster speeds in those areas anyways so it’s better to focus on drafting

3. After grinding the game, what are your current sentiments towards the game vs when you first started?

4. What’s something you think they should add to the game to make it better?

umm @Lethamyr did you know you can turn off the inverted controls upside down thing in the settings under game tab scroll down under rocket racing and there are like 4 different settings for when the car is upside down :)

Another quick tip, in festive falls, you can fly through the waterfall then boost which is much faster

These tips took me from gold 1 to gold 2 fast. need to learn how to cut corners better but im already making gaps

Idk if someone noticed this, but if u spam the drifting button u can do a really, really sharp turn, i use that strategy on races like Anaconda and if i don't get a 1°, i don't pass the 3° place.

Yeah i started making sure i was always second or third till the last few boost corners. Drafting is a little off but hopefully they will fix it to make it more readable.

OK I have no problem with drafting but I do believe it is not fair to the players in first or far ahead because other players using drafting to catch up what's the point of using the best lines and boosting on all laps if again 2 or more players can just draft off each other to catch the leader
