Our ONE-KEY™ Bluetooth Tracking Tag allows you to track what matters, backed by ONE-KEY™, the industry’s largest tracking network. With multiple attachment options and a more compact design, you can glue, screw, rivet, or zip tie the tag to anything from ladders and job boxes to valuable equipment. Integrated with the free MILWAUKEE® ONE-KEY™ App, the tracking tags for equipment will provide location updates when it comes within 300 feet of any device with the ONE-KEY™ App, providing the last seen date, time, and location. You can identify your equipment even when out of sight, with a new built-in speaker to ring your tag and locate it within 50 feet. A simplified 2-step setup process utilizes a QR code scanned with a smartphone’s built-in camera. All of this capability is powered by a built-in battery with a 3-year run time, housed inside a durable and weatherproof shell built to survive harsh jobsite conditions. Also available in a 2 pack or 10 pack.

Just an FYI for everyone: the battery inside these new tracking tags are NOT replaceable!! Milwaukee says these new tags have up to a three year battery life (probably more like 2 years realistically), so your going to have to buy all new tags every couple years. Milwaukee also says you can epoxy these tags to your tools as the best attachment option, but you definitely should NOT do that since you're going to have to buy replacement tags every two years since the batteries cannot be changed!

Also, these tags are really only useful for finding a misplaced tool around the house or shop. I would NOT count on the tags (or any Milwaukee One-Key tools) for recovering stolen items... Mainly because there aren't many people who have the One-Key tracking app installed, and on top of that Android's (and iPhones) battery management features for the last several versions of Android now do not let applications (like the One-Key app) run in the background anymore unless you manually go through several steps on a per app basis to allow background app usage, so 90% of the people who have the app install won't have gone through all that trouble to make sure the One-Key app is able to run in the background to track devices, meaning your stolen tools will likely never be tracked once they leave your home/shop.

Wish I would’ve seen this before, this is the only Milwaukee product I’m disappointed in. I got all OneKey products for my farm because things often get misplaced and it doesn’t help. Still, that’s my fault for not learning more about it. Great tools anyway.

The Milwaukee® ONE-KEY™ Bluetooth Tracking Tag is a great example of how Bluetooth technology is enhancing asset management with precision and convenience. Such tools are invaluable for tracking and securing equipment efficiently. I recently came across GAO RFID Inc., which also provides advanced RFID and IoT solutions tailored to improve asset tracking and management across industries

I put this in my tool bag and on my compressor both walked off, so I opened the app to try and locate the tools never saw them again. It's not GPS, It only works off of Bluetooth, apparently I wasn't close enough to pick up the signal just like using a Bluetooth speaker. So a good way to see what your signal radius is, turn on a Bluetooth speaker, connect it and start walking back when it cuts out that's your distance.

Only 50 ft? For the value and utility you’re better off with an Apple Air Tag and cheap waterproof cases on Amazon

Think Milwaukee needs to explain the limitations, why and how it actually works, so the ignorance in the comments will better understand

It should be gps trackable. Not Bluetooth trackable not worth it on a jobsite.
