Thank you Abati and Vimbai for your brilliant, bold, and honest analyses. It is regrettable that Nigeria has become a country of spineless creatures who go along with the shameful and incompetent behaviors of their leaders out of cowardice, sycophancy, or tribalism. How can the president of Nigeria be operating from France, while Nigerians are dying daily from terrorism and hunger; the economy is ailing hopelessly, yet Nigeria is paying exorbitantly for Tinubu’s choice to govern Nigeria from abroad? Do Nigerians know how much Nigeria pays daily for parking the aircraft with which Tinubu roams around Europe?
It is a shame that all the things that used to happen in Idi Amin’s Uganda when we were youngsters, which our parents used to brag would never happen in Nigeria, are now the norm in today’s Nigeria.
President Tinubu can resign honorably if being president of Nigeria is too tasking for him; right now he is not being a leader, he is being an arrogant, apathetic, and a clueless ruler of Nigeria. It’s time that Nigerians apologized to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for having unlawfully appended the misnomer, clueless, to his presidency, which was an excellent presidency compared to those of his successors.

God bless you Dr. Abati. I think we have become so docile that we clap for every nonsense that comes out of our so called leaders. Only Oliver Tambo airport in South Africa consumes more than 10kmw out of more than 100k that the country generates

Since tinubu is frequenting France like a diabetic needs the bathroom, can we consider listing the presidential villa on air BNB any time he is off to France. That way, Nigeria is making money while ajala is on holiday in France.

It beats me hollow that a country like Nigeria cannot generate enough power for her citizenry. This is 2025 and not 1905. This has been the situation for donkey years. What will it take to fix this ugly situation. Like Dr. Abati opined, countries like Brazil and South Africa generates so much electricity. Even other smaller countries in Africa are equally doing great in this sector. It is indeed a big shame that a country as big as Nigeria cannot fix this power wahala.. The nation has a legion of problems to say the least. Confusion everywhere like Fela will say.
