In this video I am checking out the Godin Radium.

The Godin Radium is a guitar that takes DNA from both the Les Paul and the Telecaster and combines it into a super versatile guitar with loads of great tones. This guitar has a pair of humbuckers and a single T-style pickup which when paired with the 5 way switch and coil splits, opens a plethora of tonal options.

In the video I have the Godin Session T-Pro is plugged into the Blackstar St James 6L6, the amp is running clean via the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X. The overdrive in the video is coming from the Kernom Ridge.

I've had one for a few years & it's AWESOME! It sounds great, it plays great, it feels great & it's well built. I ALWAYS put my right angled cable inside my strap to ANY guitar, the cable won't go anywhere!

Have had mine for several years now and I got it precisely for the versatility you mentioned at the end. I really do love the sound AND the look of them. The woodgrain gives each a unique quality, but that does mean anybody buying one is probably gonna want to see a picture of the exact guitar first (especially if there are options).

I'm lucky enough to have the Radium LTD edition of 100 guitars they issued. Much prettier than the carbon black and supercharged with Bare Knuckle Boot Camp True Grit Zebra humbuckers. An outstandingly versatile guitar, one of four Godin's in my arsenal.

Awesome review! What do you think of the middle pick up? Just pick mine last week and really loving the tones except the middle pick up. Maybe if they made the middle pick up a little bit hotter like 7.1k it could be utilized more.

Why would they split the pickups in position 5 and 1. Wouldn’t it be better to have it that way only when you’re in the split pickup setting? It would’ve given them twice the sound options no?

I've got a Godin Radium and the g & D strings touch the Truss Rod cover. It doesn't effect playing sound. Is this normal??
