Introducing Climate Neutral Certified

Peak Design manufactures and sells physical products. That takes lots of raw materials, lots of energy, lots of machinery and facilities, lots of shipping, and lots of people. This end-to-end process results in many tonnes of greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere every year.

And we pay to clean it up. Peak Design takes responsibility for our carbon by measuring our emissions, taking meaningful steps to reduce them, and offsetting the rest. We've been fully carbon neutral since 2017, and we've offset all the greenhouse gases we've ever emitted since 2011.

Earlier this year, we launched a non-profit called Climate Neutral, with the goal of getting all companies to measure, reduce, and offset their carbon footprints. Now, that nonprofit is launching a new certification label—Climate Neutral Certified—on Kickstarter.

The world needs this label. Go to the Kickstarter campaign to learn why. And please, help bring Climate Neutral Certified to life. For just $5, you can be a part of it. For $100, you can offset your entire annual carbon footprint, and help us out at the same time.

Thank you for your support!

Despite many sceptical responses, I think this is the way forward for all of us. Each person, each state, company, business should act responsibly on climate change. Ultimately we will not have a choice if we leave things too late, but we do have a choice now and I am fully behind your business code of ethics.

Pay money and get certified. Oh yes - that really helps ;) That "offset" part is really the best part of it. Another "pay money to someone else" to shift CO. How do you "verify" ...? ;)

Hypocrite! STOP over-packaging your (Peak Design) products. For a supposedly progressive company over-packaging is not environmentally-friendly!
