Panettone is not fruitcake! Pan means Bread and Tony is the guy who created the recipe originally during medieval times. It is fruit bread not fruit cake. And it does make good French toast that’s because it’s bread.

My dad makes fruit cake every Christmas. Only thing is, is he puts sm whiskey in it you can’t even complain about the taste cause all you taste is whiskey😭

When I was younger I used to LOVE cranberry sauce but now I’m not a huge fan of it any more because one night my church was having a Thanksgiving dinner, but I had basketball practice that night too so my mom dropped me off after my practice because my aunt, uncle, cousins, grandma, brother, and twin sister were all there, so when I walked in my aunt texted me and told me that she’ll show me where we were sitting so she was walking with me while I got my food then after she brought me to the table that they were sitting at. While I was getting my food there was a bowl of pickled beets and all the cranberry sauce was gone but I didn’t know that because I had just gotten there. I asked my aunt if the beets were cranberry sauce because I’ve never seen or heard of pickled beets and it looks just like cranberry sauce so she told me yes it was cranberry sauce so I got some. As I was eating my food I got down to the last thing on my plate and it was the pickled beets and what my 13 year old brain was telling me and my aunt it was cranberry sauce so I was trying to get it onto my fork but it wouldn’t even get on or jiggle like cranberry sauce so I was confused so I used the knife to scoop it onto my fork to eat it but when I took a bite it tasted like my LEAST FAVORITE FOOD PICKLES
