New LA DA responds to calls of resentencing of Menendez Brothers

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman confirms he met with the relatives calling for the re-sentencing of Erik and Lyle Menendez.

They have served a lifetime at this point. 35 yrs in prison as model prisoners & 15 yrs of abuse. They deserve to be free now. If Gypsy is free now to make millions & have a baby it’s unfair they aren’t paroled yet.

The public, or at least the followers, know more about the case than he does. Most of us have watched most of the trial or at least the important testimony. We know about their prison records. We know that their family wants them out. We know that they have both started organizations and done a lot of positive things in prison, and they only have a couple minor intricacies on their prison record. So they don’t deserve to stay in any longer.

I feel for the brothers they were both so young and so mentally and emotionally groomed. Erik especially all his life then to be sentenced and separated for 20 years from the only person he trusted and loved. Beyond comprehension what that would have been like for him. Heartbreaking 💔

They have done their time, what they did was horrible, but their dad was a monster…those boys acted on trauma from the abuse. They were young, immature and desperate to stop the abuse. The mother was complicit in ALLOWING THE ABUSE, so sadly they thought they had to rid her as well…no, it’s not right what they did, but people that molest and KILL SMALL children get out in time….and go on to hurt other children, these men are NOT a threat to society…time to set them free!
