Love the tactical insight on this, with actual analysis of how the players respond to certain positions, really good stuff.

As an added bonus I HIGHLY recommend giving Van de ven the green light to Dribble More. It makes a HUGE difference in both build up to allow the BPD to dribble forward when they have space.

Also, as your LIWB will take a defender with them if the opponent is playing Man, your LBPD will be like a de facto WB who can and will take the ball to the byline for a cross. Van de ven has gotten anywhere between 4 to 12 assists over a season playing this way.

This is amazing! As a Spurs fan I’m really impressed with this. I was i little bit skeptical of using RPM on Maddison as I want him to be involved in a more attacking side of the game but the positional play in FM24 has done a great job so far.
It would be really nice if you can make an updated version as Ange now has used Son on Lw as an inside forward to creating chances for others whilst Maddison is out and still be able to score goals (4g+4a in Dec). It’s definitely a huge huge tweak to his tactics, I can’t recall seeing him use an inside forward before.

Fantastic one. Watching that long clip in the middle of this video (tracking Hojberg) was just like watching the real Tottenham. You've nailed this one.

Loved this tactic. Used it and the results were amazing. Won the league on GD on the last day and also bagged the Carabo Cup.

Perhaps a back 3 is one way to get midfielders in the inverted fullback positions.
Both wingers can occupy the half space and the wing backs can keep the width.

Please insert in our boy Timo Werner from our rival and Conor when we get him.

What you’re talking about udogie on iwb pushing maddison up 100% does happen, i’ve been exploiting this with shaw and mount, shaw as a iwb on support and mount as a Volante on attack and it’s absolutley amazing.

Love the content! Could you do a Le Bris Sunderland/Lorient tactic?

That CM-R position is definitely Carillero IRL. But BBM with stay wider can work in FM. I personally started with almost exactly the same tactic, but eventually changed Porro to CWB-A and Kulusevski to IW-S with stay wider PI. Think it just works better for players, even though it's not exactly what Ange is doing IRL.

Oooo i can definitely use some of this for my assymetric 4321 - that underlap could be brilliant for my Vol attack

How would you change it vs bigger clubs after a promotion? Maybe lower the line and press by 1, or lower the tempo?

Also, Ange has been using a 4231 the last couple of matches with Kulu as no.10. Would you class that as more attacking? I think Bissouma is a DM (d) and Sarr and B2B possibly, Son IF (A)? Kulu Am (s) ?

So a pressing forward over an advanced forward? Why?
And also how is the possession on this? Is it high?

please is the 3-1 rest defense in the 316 from your Cruyff video as solid as this 2-3 setup? If not how can we have more balance for the 3-1-6?

Good video I’m going to test these
tactics, do you know a similar team to Tottenham to replicate ANGE-BALL?
