A mysterious halo (at 0 :28 sec.) appeared in a drifting early morning fog bank that passed across Buzzards Bay and West Island, Monday, August 28, 2017 at 630AM. The ghost rainbow appeared several times and eventually disappeared as the bank moved away. This clip was originally rejected, but after this discovery, I decided to post this little rainbow that appeared in a complete circle., which they all do. The water droplets in the fog with the sun angle at the right place and time with the camera made this fogbow visible only at this spot. The angle of the sun has to be between 30 and 40 degrees from the anti-solar point. The fogbows are also called white rainbows, cloudbows, or ghost rainbows.
