This video reminded me of my time in Bavaria. Many of the greetings where I lived (Stadt Memmingen) were the same: Gruss Gott, Servus! Des gfoid ma! usw. When I first arrived there, I had to forget or rather "adjust" the High School German I learned and add new words to my vocabulary. I used to visit Bregenz frequently on the weekends and also enjoyed glacier skiing. Ich liebe Oesterreich!! Hoffentlich komme ich wieder bald zuerueck.

can you please make a video on whether or not you can use formal or informal with the receptionist at a hotel, someone selling tickets at a station etc.? in the uk we just say 'hello' to everyone and say 'you' and i t's the same you for everyone. no formalities. can you do a video for this with the correct phrase for each scenario?

you should say what 'oida' is even if you used it in another video.

Warum wird da so getan, als ob es nur die Ostösterreichische Variante geben würde? Das Video müsste eigentlich Vienna German heißen. Am Süden und Westen klingt das alles ziemlich anders!
