Pushback, taxiing and heavy take-off on runway 16 at Zurich Airport in the evening. The aircraft made a very late rotation and climbed out smooth with some smoke behind the engines.

Wow.. Has anybody noticed, they even use drooping ailerons ???


That is a special feature of DeHavilland Beavers, Otters, and Twin Otters, it increases the lift even more. Check the video around 4:15.


Even my model plane DHC-2 Beavers, I program ailerons to come down on the first flap setting so it can take off or land on a much shorter distance.
