Welcome to an exclusive Rimac C_Two (now called Nevera) EV Hypercar detailed review - on both road and track. 1914hp, 1.4 megawatts, 258mph, 340 mile range WLTP, 0-100mph in 4.3 seconds and an 8 second quarter mile capability in comfort. Jonny Smith travelled to Croatia to experience a car he has eagerly followed the journey of for the last 10 years. Why? Because machines of this ambitious scale, with this level of tech, speed and capability seldom appear in our world.

If you want to just see Jonny's full acceleration runs over the quarter mile, then please watch the shorter video.

This should be a Top Gear or Grand Tour production with Clarkson the Hamster Chris Harris or even Tiff on the runway with all the bells and whistles but it is so so much better that it’s Jonny presenting this car and talking with the owner and the test driver.

Jonny produces the best car stories around from barn finds to this. It’s just extraordinary.

Thanks for such a wonderful piece of motoring journalism.

By the way how fast did you go?

I feel that a small country like Croatia producing a weapon like this is absolutely brilliant, job well done Rimac

Mate is an incredible guy. His enthusiasm, vision, attention to detail and drive to produce a machine like this by the age of just 33 (!!!) is just...wow!

Just saw carwow’s video and then came here to watch this. I’ve got one thing to say Jonny; not about the car, but about you. Stay the same. The way you interact with the car and crew, the way you appreciate the hard work of the individuals behind it and the respectfulness in your attitude is truly commendable. Totally different from Matt. Or any other car reviewers for that matter. Stay the same and keep up the great work 👍

When Johnny drops a F bomb and leaves it in the video, you know the car is good... really good.

And i just want to add, Mate deserves real praise, from any petrol head, what he and his company has achieved is nothing short of mind blowing, and unlike some "meme-lord" that shall remain nameless, he delivers in spades and in time and quality, while respecting and pushing forward the craft and his fellows in the company... and even the fact that he deliberately builds everything in Croatia, and helps the country, only proves his love for it that much more. Patriotism actually done right! Nothing but respect for these achievements, i only wish i could be part of such a team, or invest in such a company.

Having that amount of access shows the respect you have in the industry.
Bonkers car, beautiful country with some great roads by the look of it.
Having said all that, it’s no Panda 4x4 is it. ;-).

Finally a rival for the mighty Flux Capacitor! Simply fantastic!

If I had the money, I'd buy one now! The Rimac company, Mate himself, and the story behind it all is even more amazing than the car itself. Of course it also shows what can be done with EV's. Another nail in the combustion car coffin 😉
What a thing! ❤

You lucky, lucky guy! I was only able to see Mate once with his Rimac Sportcar at the Berlin Olympic Stadium and meet him briefly - this was a lucky coincidence, as I happened to be passing there. What a fantastic car - brilliant!

Sorry? Did someone say that EVs are going to mean a boring automotive future? Yaeh, right.
Jonny, your channel just gets better with every video. Thanks for providing some of the best car related stuff anywhere.

I like the authentic sound it makes. It feels true. Lotus and Porsche should take notes. Mate man, good man.
I am very impressed, exceedingly so.

The production quality of TLBS just keeps getting better. Thanks Jonny, glad you made it out of Frankfurt in the end on your return journey.

The soundtrack is so fitting. Next level mate.

The interesting thing about the “design everything from scratch” aspect of this car is that they are probably learning a lot that can be carried over to other EVs. For example the braking system that is not based on an ICE vacuum system makes a lot of sense for all EVs

What a joy to watch! Insane numbers from an insane car built by an insane company!

Having followed the Rimac story here and there over the years, this is the only million-zillion hyperwank EV that interests me.
His story really is extraordinary and I can hardly fathom what it's like to drive. But the adjustability of that torque vectoring, with four totally independent wheels, is what really fascinates me about the Concept_One and Nevera, in terms of its potential and how infinitesimally tunable the car's balance must be.
