Operation1 - Face Grooving
HELIFACE
The double-ended, twisted face groove insert makes it possible to machine in depths much larger than the insert length. Unique chip formers were designed to control optimal chip flow in axial and radial directions. The twisted rear angle position is slanted in relation to the frontal cutting edge so that it does not come into contact with the machined groove surface as the tool penetrates deeply into the workpiece.

Operation 2 - Chamfering
DR-TWIST
Range: Ø12-60 mm (Ø.5-2.5”)
The economical and efficient DR-TWIST features four cutting edged positive inserts in a wide range of chipformers and grades. This line is suitable for interrupted drilling, and an excellent choice when drilling applications include angular/concave/convex entry and exit points.

Operation 3 - Chamfering
PRE-THREAD
