I'm realizing I didn't mention in this video that I've already read The Outsider and If It Bleeds. I was hoping to re-read The Outsider ahead of the release but I'm skipping doing that now. So, we're all set for Holly!

While End of Watch is a cool title, it’s always bugged me cause anyone that knows what that phrase means knows what will happen. If you read them when they first came out you weren’t spoiled by it, but at this point that’s that it feels like.

I pretty much agree with you, i think what makes the second and the third book still be so good is because they follow the same pattern as the first: there's a lot of things going on, all of the strings and knots were executed/ attached very well and they are actually short books and have a kind of frenetic rhythm so the reading goes very smooth and you just can't put the book away cause you wanna know what happens, Stephen goes straight to the point, it's not like in his big books like IT and 11/22/63 that the long descriptions and slow rhythm gets you really tired.
I also don't like the paranormal thing on the third, for the story this is a key component but it gets really disconnected from the other 2 books that i enjoyed a lot cause the "villain" is just a human serial killer/assassin, like a regular person.
And i just wanna point out that Brady seems a lot like a protagonist from a book that his wife wrote, it's called Small World by Tabitha King, the two characters invent some device that helps them to commit a crime.
