I would love the idea for giving our mechs the opportunity to change guns while on the field. Able to attach support weapons and load up with whatever ammo required from the backpack.

Let's make a exosuit that uses the laser cannon on both sides, essentially unlimited ammo, because that's one of the main drawbacks of them, you run out of ammo quickly and then its practically useless

As a long time mech pilot, and seeing what we've got. Grab this young lad, put em to work. You know what would also be cool for some mechs, some swapable weapons or special ones beyond the left and right fire, that we could activate as command prompt like direction arrow bits to activate mech specific weapon commands. Would be hot.

Bonus points if you put the mech down and you could set it up in a direction where you could also pop those commands from outside of the mech to be used in stratagies like a manually operated remote turret.
