This movie looks interesting, I couldn't find it anywhere I want to watch it someday. I like Tom Guiry, he's Scotty Smalls from the Sandlot. I like the Sandlot, it's a cool baseball movie. Baseball is my kind of sport.

Poxa... emoção tomou conta quando eu assisti a esse "remake" de Lassie. Chorei no trecho em que toca "In my life" dos The Beatles. Realmente me emocionou por me transportar à minha infância nos anos 80. Recomendo a emoção nostálgica. ❤

Watched this finally 5 years ago

first there was the black-and-white TV series then the 1960's films
30 ago Hollywood made another successful movie based on the famous canine
the only recognizable star here is Helen Slater from her 'Supergirl' days and it happens to be Michelle Williams' first movie debut but newcomer Tom Guiry stars next to the titular animal
the film is terrific family entertainment from it's lovable pooch to warm music to lush landscapes
sure it's a tad overwhimsical but it knows exactly what it is
it even got me to cry towards the end as most of these stories do
highly enjoyable with a dog everyone will love even if you're not a longtime Lassie fan

I always associated a Beatles song with this movie as I thought it was the first time I heard it on when I was a kid, and I searched and searched but it wasn't use on this film. I guess it's mandela effect

This movie despite being a good film underperformed and may be one of the contributing factors that led to Broadway Video selling its family entertainment catalog to Golden Books Family Entertainment. Classic Media now owns the rights to "Lassie" outright, but Paramount Pictures retained ownership of this film.
