it’s mind boggling how realistic filters are getting every day and how prevalent it is in media. back then, pictures on ig were one thing. now, you have fully functional, realistic and real time filters on almost every video you see, even if it’s not about beauty. we’re surrounded by digitally curated and filtered faces and bodies to make us feel bad so we can continue to buy skincare products, luxury brands, and makeup that will NEVER make us look like the filter we’re comparing ourselves to
