One foot down twice should count as being inbounds

so bizarre, like he was trying to keep one foot up. Still equivalent to dragging one foot like 2 feet

When the rule is both feet, one foot twice doesn’t cut it

wouldn’t matter if it’s the same foot 3 times, his right foot touched the ground twice, he could’ve moved his heel towards the turf but he didn’t

Similar thing happened to Jaylen Polk on the Patriots against the dolphins. One foot and one toe doesn’t count as two feet, and now we know the same foot twice doesn’t count as two feet either.

I always heard “ make sure you get both feet down” idk tho

Who else but George Pickens could get one foot down twice instead of both down once?! LMFAO

As a Steelers fan, I get it. I do. But man, to have someone maintain the ball that well, that much in the middle of the end zone, and it's NOT a TD. There's a rule that covers the case of players being carried out of the endzone. I wish it could somehow cover this case.

No skipping the same foot is not a catch the two foot rule must live on it makes it way more entertaining

It’s the right call two feet means both of them not tapping one twice. That’s still one foot tf.😂

So if you hop 15 steps on 1 foot out of bounds thats not a catch i guess

Per the NFL Rulebook:

If a player, who is in possession of the ball, is held up and carried out of bounds by an opponent before both feet or any part of his body other than his hands touches the ground inbounds, it is a completed or intercepted pass. It is not necessary for the player to maintain control of the ball when he lands out of bounds.

This would have been the closest thing, but he is pushed, not carried.

Makes me think of toe-tapping now not being considered a foot...

One foot down twice counts as one foot. It really isnt that hard.

If a guy catches it at the 10 and hops on 1 leg the entire time because he broke his foot on the run to the ball, should it be a touchdown?

One legged man makes catch in NFL ❌ Wrong!

I don’t mind this. But usually when the ball barely crosses the pylon it’s a TD

One foot twice should count as two feet in the NFL should look into a rule change that should be a touchdown

I can see someone next week catching a wide open touchdown and hopping on one foot a few times before putting their other foot down.
