We've made some amazing progress clearing out our basement, sourcing salvage materials from ebay, and framing for new drywall, but we have SO MUCH more to do to make our biggest DIY transformation to date a reality! Wow, making such great progress boys! Always looking forward to your videos. I can see why you guys are together... exquisite taste... cherish your time together making memories that will last you a lifetime. PS... pocket doors, great idea will probably give you three extra feet.

As soon as I saw that beautiful piece of stained glass, I thought it would go so well with the curved wall with the vertical pattern! And I wasn't wrong, it's a great fit, without looking intentional - that's the beauty of integrating vintage/salvage pieces.

Great update! Looking forward to seeing the progress and completion! How high are your ceilings in the basement? What factors did you consider to ultimately decide not to dig out the basement? Our basement is 6 and 1/2 ft but estimates were very high to dig out the basement 😳....
