I have been to a pain mgmt. Dr and I was got a shot in the right SI joint back in October of 22. The pain came back after about a month and a half. I then got another shot nearly 3 months after the first one on Jan 11, 23. I got literally no relief. I don't think this Dr. knows what is truly causing my pain, so I reach out to a different Dr, who suggests the pain is not from my Right SI joint but a Facet joint instead. He wants to do a right L4-5 and L5-S1 MBB/ RF and follow-up 3 weeks after with an RFA. Should I go this route? And also, when I had my SI joint injections, they were done by two different Dr.s. They used different sedation. The first one was great, the second one hurt and I feel like maybe he didn't even sedate me properly and I had no relief from the SI injection, why is that. Why would the sedation be so different. I feel like that procedure has me scarred and scared of the next procedure. Any thought would be great!! Also I am a new subscriber. Thanks for the invaluable information and knowledge! I feel like I should also mention. The radiologist report said I had bulging disc's and a herniated disc. My pain is in my right side only, in my right buttock and sometimes in the back of my right thigh I have a sharp shooting pain. Also pain in my right hip and groin.
