This is the Alqatara water slide at Meryal Water Park in Lusail, Qatar. The trapdoor water slide can be used with our without a back protector. The slide is quite smooth compared to most other body slides at the park so you do not really need it.

Looks like a great free fall slide. Though I wonder what in the world causes some of the Whitewater built slides to be nice and smooth, and others to be rough. I wonder if there's different resins or anything between models that can be more or less expensive for the buyer affecting smoothness or if quality control is just not a high priority at this manufacturer.
