Get your money back from a Templar tax collector

Templar tax collectors appear totally random. They have a red purse symbol above their head. It may take a while, but one will eventually appear on your mini-map. So be aware. Mine appeared after finishing the story. Simply kill one of them with your hidden blade.

These guys appeared to me every 2 minutes in Assasin's Creed 2 but i saw only one of them in this game! WTF?

Okay Guys Listen up! The tax collector has specific spawn points in the game ( specifically near the banks), the most effective pawn point is near the tunnel entrance at hagia sophia, try hiding in a bench or the haystack, he usually spawns after the bank deposit has been made, It's easy if you know where to look and btw there are no requirements to spawn him just time the deposits in the bank and wait for him to respawn. TU!

Easiest way to do this rather than just hoping for a random spawn is to go to the bank near the Mercenaries HQ next to Arsenal (where the burned tree is). You don't have to wait for a deposit to happen like some other guides and people say (which is only every 20 minutes and it's excruciating having to wait that long), just run through the archway to Arsenal (where the boats and cranes are), run far enough in so the game reloads that area near the bank and burned tree and then run back to the bank and burned tree area. The tax collector should spawn, if not, just try again. I got him to spawn on the 2nd try.

These guys are like the Borgia messengers from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Killing them gives you less money and make you notorious, but tackling them, or in this game leg sweeping them, gets you more money and doesn't make you notorious.

I have only witnessed 2 of these dudes while playing this game. The first at the start of the game that I ignored, the second I chased after while collecting data fragments and he jumped off a ledge and killed himself not counting for the trophy.

OK guys, I might have pinned down a location for the tax collector. Make sure to also hide so as not to scare the collector before I could see him. SPOT : Haggia Sophia tunnel entrance. TIME : Bank deposit trigger. Hide in the hay stack and he should appear within minutes. - Make sure to hide
- Pay close attention to the radar, since he comes from a random direction.
- If you fail and he dies, exit the animus and come back in, just to make sure he doesnt keep any "dead" status. Remember HIDE!

that is the armor of ishak pasha, the indestructible armor for revelations, find all ten memoir pages (you can buy a map for em after getting 25 data fragments (i think)) and then a tomb inside hagia sofia will unlock and you can get the armor (comes with mask)

Actually, you don't have to be notorious. I first waited for about 10 deposits while being notorious, but he didn't show up. Then I got my templar status to about 10%. First deposit after that, he shows up.. Hope it helps!

I got this trophy at the bank by the arsenal to the south of the map. I had money in the bank, didn't withdraw it and waited a few steps inside the arsenal while looking back at the bank. Within 5-10 minutes a tax collector spawned! :)

If you’re still struggling to find him, he spawned for me 5 min after I had a bank deposit. I was located near the Bayezid District Bank. Southwest of the Mercenary HQ. Northwest of the Fight Club.

It seems to be glitched as the achievement with those bloody Templars in AC1 - the last one never appears !! I still miss that achievement and nothing works !!

I seen this dude one time during a mission, I did not kill him due to following someone. Now I cannot find him again lol no matter where I go. Oh well!

if you beat the game just start a new game and soon as you get in the city you’ll see him it’s easier than testing luck

Ok after trying this trophy for 2 days, i have tried various methods.E.G Hiding in the bay at Sofia etc, south west of Piri Reis shop etc, around Arsenal area etc, NONE OF THEM WORKED.

But i got it the moment i DELETED the 1.04 patch.So i fast travel to arsenal, the place where the riot started and face my camera towards the arsenal door, back facing the bank.Wait until the next transaction, run inside the arsenal and BOOM there is that messenger ! DELETE THE PATCH ! THUMBS UP SO PPL CAN SEE THIS !

is there any way that you could show how to do the thieves guild and mercenaries guild challenges. Theyre the last things i have to do to have completed 100% of the game and i cant complete 2 of the challenges in each

So i finally got him. I was outside the arsenal area. Bought a building close by came back took my money out the bank. Bought a outfit from the tailer. The gold 1. Then i ran from Arsenal to Hagia sophia, climed up the building jumped into the hay stack and then poof he spawned on me. Last achievment i need for the ezio collection 100% done
