Thanks for your response. I figure if I sew the pocket of the jeans in the front shut and then sew up the sides they may work and it did. I rarely use my front pocket so I just sew them shut. Cut out the excess pocket fabric and sew up the sides and they fit pretty good. Now I need to cut away the excess fabric on the side and iron. Feel pretty happy right now.

I use a wet washcloth and blot it. sometimes I have to do it more than once but it came out :)

I have a question about the fabric markers you use on this project. I notice that you use washable fabric markers, how do you manage to remove the markers on items such as the skull applique and the bag lid which can't be laundered?

Thanks for sharing. Will give this a try. Quick question. Do you have any tutorials on how to reduce jeans. I went from a size 16 to a size 10 and would love to reduce my denim pants. Cannot afford new ones right now. If you don't have any tutorials for this can you recommend a site or a person who has one. Thanks Frannie
