@5:37 Yes I've used American Tape forever and I noticed this on my latest batch a few weeks ago

My first thought is they've changed the formula and gone slightly cheaper on the Adhesive

I love how strong that tape is

I definitely had the orange tape proplems and base flaking off as i clear. Switched to American tan tape and no issues. Great video as usual 👌

When I started in the trade my mentor told me the long way is the quick way. In short don’t do shortcuts and do it right the first time. I still try to do it this way even after 37 years of painting
