In this video I wanted to do a simple watercolor sketch using a limited palette. I'm also testing out the Takstar SGC-598 Shotgun Mic. If you like this one, there will be another video coming on how to choose limited palettes for travel.

I'd like to see how Mayan dark blue and Mars yellow look mixed - would it be more like... yellowey green? Or bluey green? Greeny blue? Now that I think about it, I must get a tube of Mayan dark blue and try myself. I like dark gloomy colours and that blue seems to be just in that category.

I have an unrelated question. I’m new to Daniel smith- and have just ordered the 24 half pan set. Is this something you have reviewed, and or would recommend. I’ve been a Winsor and newton cotman user, and love, love, love my derwents. Just not sure if I made the right choice in buying pans and not tubes? What’s your opinion :-)
