Sound comparison Apple MacBook Air M2 (2022) vs MacBook Pro 14 inch (2021)

The speakers in the M1 Pro produce a much more pleasing sound. They are placed besides the keyboard and backed by speakers in the bottom of the MBP resulting in a much better sound. Where the MacBook Air only gets speakers in the hinge.

Although the video wasn't recorded up to any cinema standards, you can also tell the micro-led (MacBook Pro) display apart from the LCD display (MacBook Air).

The MacBook Pro gets louder, sounds cleaner and has more low end.

When both the M1 Pro MBP and the M2 air are equipped with the same amount of memory and storage, they will cost about the same, which is why in most cases the, the 14 inch MBP is objectively a better machine.
