Same things were said about Teo, and about Guirelle Jr's field play. I remember as a child same things were said about Joe Carter's fielding. When the Jays got Joey bats they said his 3rd base skill were suspect - I rather have a offensive guy who lacks D, then Varsho who is the other way around.

Atkin's redundancy is keeping Barger and Martinez from getting the real opportunity they deserve to play.

I talked directly with a guy at Baseball America about their rankings, specifically about OMart and Ricky.

I always contend that our farm system is not bottom 10.
PED was justification to remove OMart from the top 100, but reality isn't dictated by the handful of guys who make these eerily similar rankings.

Now we have OMart, Roden and Wagner sitting on the doorstep to the MLB team and that's a bottom 10 system? (Maybe - if the team is really that bad)

I'd say not bad for losing high picks in the Springer and Bassitt deals and trading other #1 picks for Berrios, Pop/Bass and Chapman .

The MLB team loses so it's easy to tank everything surrounding it..including the top prospects.

May not make the Jays in April, but l think Barger will be an asset with power and his arm. He just came back from a hand injury. I think the jury is out on Wagner

I wish he could have had last year to get a long look at him but Atkins again screwed us, before they put Martinez on the roster you have to do your homework and made sure he was ok but Atkins job that he didn’t do, we didn’t get a long look at him diligence should have been done
