Imagine this in parallel to a bank robbery. Imagine if the security guard of the bank gave the robbers the weak points that they should enter in the best time to do it. Then imagine that the security guard points the cameras away from where the robbers will be. Additionally imagine that he leaves the back door to the bank unlocked. This person just set the stage for the crime to be successful. That is exactly what happened in the assassination attempt.
