If this were a lesser Marvel movie, there would have been a lame joke when Harlequin appeared. But no, everyone is sad. Because thousands of innocent people are dead, and they just lost their new friend Polka Dot man. So yeah, they should be sad. Compare that with how the destruction of Asgard was handled.
