his threats don't scare me. there is one thing that is true about putin. he loves his Russian heritage he knows a nuclear war would end everything he loves about his home land.

Russia's military has been performing far below expectations it seems. They apparently have very little experience in modern combined-arms warfare. Paratroopers dropping unsupported by ground advances, armor moving without infantry support, infantry failing to dismount from their IFVs and provide screening, armored columns out-pacing supply lines and running out of fuel, and overall poor logistical planning. I've seen some military analysts comment on just how shocked they are by the shear incompetence of Russian command. They are sustaining heavy casualties and losing assets at an alarming rate. The fact that the invasion has gone so abysmally, the civil unrest at home, and sanctions which are destroying the economy will likely force Putin to withdraw long before Ukraine is forced to capitulate. Especially if Ukraine can keep supply lines open with Europe there is very little hope of a Russian victory in any sense of the word.
