Tedi Millward - The lecturer who taught Welsh to Prince Charles when he was at Aberystwyth University died today. Rest in peace / Cwsg yn dawel.

Loving that the welsh language is getting the limelight

It‘s so sad to see Dr. Millward and his wife in the pub, watching intently, shushing people so they pay attention, and even looking proud of Charles when he pronounces “atmosphere” correctly, and then contrasting it with his actual parents, who are sitting there, not knowing what he’s saying and looking uncomfortable that he’s saying anything at all.

And then afterwards Millward tells him that he did good while his mother just tells him he fucked up.

Still can’t believe that the Windsors trust Tywin Lannister just like that

I'm so so happy they included Welsh in a popular tv show. Celtic languages need more attention.
And btw I'm impressed with the actor's pronunciation..so good, he even managed the LL

This is the first time I have ever heard Welsh. It sounds pretty I am glad it still is spoken.

It’s kind of sad that it was lord Mountbatten who came and got Charles ready for his his investiture but his own dad didn’t

Does the show skip over the fact that 3 bombs went off in the town that day? Only to disrupt the ceremony but they knew about it. Charles is on record worriedly asking about the noises on his carriage ride to the castle

The queen: "I don't think so" haha

Basically Prince Charles said Wales is their own people, and should be treated thus.

Before Camilla I actually really liked how Charles was portrayed. Him meeting her was the beginning of an end.
